Today I'm leaving Oslo, where I have spent the last 35 years. This winter has been predominately white, to put it mildly. A last snapshot of the snow heaps outside my former home. The usual small red Peugeot is a convenient yardstick to estimate the depth of the snow pack. Spring is a long distance away it seems.

Df 35-200.

I love small red cars. We do not know amounts of snow like these here, but as a child my father has been able to cross the Rhine river that had frozen over

That is a big step after such a long time. Looking forward to your new home-town?

Well-known special rendering.  ;)

Looks like your sample has a tiny bit more LoCa than mine. I assume also wide open at 35mm?

Hardly a town at all. But as I'm now next-door neighbour to my girl friend of the last 25 years, there are other benefits :D

The Loca is caused by processing, the settings were at 35mm f/5.6, initial editing in photoninja, i should have reduced the loca in ps more aggresively.

Okay. thanks for you explanation. Regarding the range and age of the lens I would have expected some serious LoCa especially at the wider end. But with my sample it's minimal and easy correctable (if any)

This also applies for barrel distortion, there is some at 35mm, but very easy correctable.
