Bluebells - more images added

The bluebells are out where I live; the first ones came out about two weeks ago and now they look wonderful.
These ones are from a spot near home  that I finally resolved visiting today, after living here for over ten years.

I wonder what you could have done with your Heligon...

The place was lovely, there are so many flowers that the air is filled with their soft, fresh scent.

I'll definitely be back for more in the next days.

I remember similar display of English bluebells in the Dartmoors.
There has been a strong promotion for maintaining the british var. of the bluebell, the var.on the continent is the socalled spanish variety.

#2 and 3# are beautiful; I question your choice of focus-point in the other two. Our bluebells up here look like they are going to have very good season but have not reached their peak yet.

I also love #2.  The peculiar shape of the trees in the background gives a nice twist to the already beautiful image.

Not sure in which two of three pictures you are questioning the focus...

In general choosing the focus in these images has not been am easy choice, apart from where depth of field has been minimized deliberately to bring attention on detail rather than the whole scene.
While I was shooting I mused that it would be an interesting subject for experimenting with tilt and shift, I think I'll give that a try next time I go but I need to have plenty of time for that.

I can't help but thinking there is a rooted disposition for some British to dislike local genes mixing with European ones... enough said.
