A really priviliged place to live. Yet. As I understand it you have a lack of daylight and no lack of snow during significant periods of the year. Beautiful shot of your "bay area"
You are out there. You and your camera. You can shoot or not shoot as you please. Discover the world, Your world. Show it to us. Or we might never see it.

Typical Dutch, Fons.

Nice rainy and dark effect, Jack.

Great view, Sten, and what a beautiful sunny weather you have.

A grey and rainy day again. Fine weather for a walk and get soaked.

Always very quiet at the nearby cemetery.

Experimented with short and very long shutter speeds; I like the short best:

I agree - you captured the texture, translucency and flow of the water really well.

March 9

Martha has lost an earring one of a pair of an original design, which was  in memory of her deceased son.

She probably lost it while visiting Nuenen last Tuesday

National news in Tilburg: The plans were announced for the upcoming  celebrating of the King's birthday, which will take place in Tilburg on April 27th.

Mayor of Tilburg, Peter Noordanus, to the left, explains the plans. He is accompanied by the Noord-Brabant District Governour  Wim van de Donk, who also lives in Tilburg.

The presentation was in the old train repair facilities.

Very much your daily work, John,

most of your photojournalist' colleagues carrying their heavy (Canon) guns and flashes, often a pair of them around their necks?

Especially Sports and Royalty-watching the Canon seems in the majority often paired with the 'standard' f/2.8 zooms. Carrying two camera's with f/1.4 primes is my usual approach giving a lot more 'optical' flexibility.

The sun came, and better weather and higher temperatures are expected.

The Crocus were a few weeks later than last year but also the Forsythia is very late this year.
