all scenes are typical, means quite proper places, but not on the newest stand. The missing money and creativity are well seen and shown.
@ Frank: this is not Germany, yes it is an important part of it, counting the inhabitants, but it is no more a leading part.
I can agree that this is Ruhr Area and here in a city that took down one of the most beautiful town halls in the 60 or 70`s -
I do not know exactly when, and then was about 20 years without town hall -
in a city that was eating money from steel and coal that had a family Krupp who was doing a lot of social real estate.
Now the money is gone and exactly these middle class areas from the 1960 - 2000 are now the back yards.
BTW you find similiar scenes in Saarland in the former steel areas.
