The movement in the leaves are nicely caught here Lars.

I went to a cabin a bit higher in altitude this weekend. Fantastic surroundings, with all trees glazed with ice and snow. And some additional fog on the second day. Still with the 35mm fully open.

Thoughtful parking!!  ::)

Kjetil, these images are so beautiful and atmospheric.  Although it is not the autumn color anymore(!), I love them.

Anirban, very well spotted and executed!  I love this color composition, too.

Yes, beautiful Kjetil.  Nice colours and overview, Anirban.

The Katsura  ( Cercidiphyllum japonicum ) is always early with it's autumn colour.

Autumn leaves don't have to be coloured.  Nikon F100, 50mm f/1.8G, Ilford FP4.

Thanks for the kind comments to my pictures.

Just to clarify, there is no IR image here. The picture of the icy trees are natural colours as I saw it with my own eyes. The only real difference from the actual scene is the somewhat dreamy look contributed by the 35 f/1.4 at full aperture. The sligthly orange tint of the dead grass is what I saw as autumn colours.

Very crisp picture by Anirban, lovely contrast between the colourful trees and the grey houses.

Anirban that red tree and its matching car, just beautiful!
Kjetil's images are about winter than autumn in our not so cold areas :) Lovely images.
The yellow leaves are just amazing by John.
All of the images here are great I am so touched by autumn every year. Something romantically sad is happening every year :)

Thanks Akira, John, Jakov, Kjetil.

Kjetil - your ice and snow shot is marvelous. Gives me shiver. What a scene!

The forest floor reveals the season, the remaining leaves show a fresh green colour, because of a long period of drought,
trees had shed their leaves early.

And those red leaves are gorgeous. Which lens did you use?
