Ah, ah ! The trouble is to get access to it ! California is quite far and I don't expect to fly to the states anytime soon (If they would allow me in ). Still, Californian wines are getting better every year, have I heard from French good wine lovers... :-)

I am a member of many wineries up and down the state. We would have a great time tasting wines and taking pictures.

I've heard rumors to "wine making" in SA. Can't say I believe them. 


(Actually, I've tasted some good stuff from SA and Chile and Australia.)

Gary dear - seriously..... Cape Town, Stellenbosch and Paarl is wine farm country - right on my doorstep. That is what the history of the cape is built on.

In two weeks I am heading down to Ponte Winery in Temecula for an event and an evening of grape stomping, dinner and music and I will also be picking up my fall wine shipment from Thornton. (And No, I will not be participating in the stomp.)
