Frank, thank you for sharing that story.

Maybe Kristians parents thought a bit like I tend to. A persons memory is not kept alive by visiting graves. Of course I do respect that other people find consoleance in doing so, but I prefer to keep the memory alive by being inspired by peoples lives and not let that inspiration dissipate.

By wat you shared here, it seems to work that way for you. Black Dove? I own a few books by the Black Dog company :) Different thing maybe, but Wizards indeed.

Today it's Tool Time!

that IS an inspirational building!

Oh, yeah!  It looks like a half-buried jet engine!

Perhaps your late friend's relatives are unaware of what has happened?

A grave is something like a piece of land you rent from your city.

You pay for something like an "initial resting period" can be 25 to 30 years.

Then the family receive a letter asking if they want to keep the grave and pay for another 5 to 30 years or the grave will be discontinued, plants and stone removed and marked as "free". After some years someone else might be buried there. The rent can be several hundreds of Euros per year.

Mother and father of Kristian might still be alive and his brother and sisters too. So I wonder why the grve is discontinued. Maybe they do not want to remember?

Thanks Frank.

Great portrait, Fons.

Some tests with a rare bird in the Nikon mouth -  The Panagor 28mm  f/2.5   62mm filter thread, solidly build, better and smoother than the later Zeiss or Voigtlander.  Made in Japan but not sure who made this one.
