I did a Game Reserve Tour again this past weekend - and decided to go for some B&W lions this time

Nah Thomas, the lioness has just done some DIY flossing by eating a park ranger or two!  You are right though, no plaque or tartar on those teeth.

B&W is a nice touch Elsa, but on this occassion I personally prefer the colour.

Thank you for the color example  which is well suited to that image in my mind.

I think lions look good in b/w, including in your series here. A really fierce look in the second picture, and a strangely shy one in the fourth.

Very fearsome the second one, the best for me.
Besides man, these are the creatures are fear most.
Sometimes I have nightmares with them.
I think it is child trauma because I saw pictures of a turist being attacked and eaten. Some years ago I saw the footage too. The poor stupid guy had left the car to take closer pictures. So, be careful Elsa!!!
I'd use a 800mm to take these!

Thank you Kjetil  :)
AtPaula - you are right. These are not pussy cats - they are wild and dangerous. One swipe with a paw could leave you severely hurt.
I am sorry about the experience you had - it is awful!

Great series.  I agree with  Kjetil here on the #'s 2&4 and also like the tongue detail.
