Hi all,
beautiful macros post here. Let me share some butterflies from Muenster in Germany. I think the key for photographing butterflies is observation. Knowing the behavior of the insect gives you information about when is the right moment to photograph them. For example, late afternoon, very early in the morning or after rain many insects in general including butterflies cannot fly (you can literally touch them), is in my opinion the best time point for"photo shooting" them.
By the way, the first one was acquired with the Micro Nikkor 105mm F4 + PN-11, the second one with the Nikon Series E 75-150mm + Close-up filter 3T.
Best regards,
Ramón
