Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/4, Big, Bulky, Slow, better has sunshad stick to it, colors slightly different :-)
It's rendering helps to bring up the texture of the protective sleeve.

Øivind, very atmospheric. A lot of details. Impressive amount of spectators - this must be the event around.
I knew it exists but long distance sled racing is not a concept for my home country.
Would love to see more images.

February 7th. 

The statue of the 'Kruikenzeiker', symbol for the Tilburger.  It's part of the history that workers in the Textile industry needed to take their urine to the factory which was used for bleaching the wool. They used a special jar for that purpose.

There is a permanent statue of 'The Kruikenzeiker' as well, but this one is carried to the main centre on 'Heuvel' during the openings-festivities.
