I do think a sincere critique is positive. It takes courage to do a negative one, even if with good constructive intentions, even more to really accept it.

Love your couple holding hands by the way. Nice ambiance. The crossing white lines are a perfect touch.

Pretty lady -never wrong :)- backlighted, if that´s even a word...

Paco. I sure like to meet you and go shooting at night! Another Wow shot!

We were going down these stairs, and I grabbed a single frame.  I like it both ways -- color and b/w.

Great photo! You must have a really good camera.

While testing Bjørns Nikkor 35/1.4G which started my love affair with the fast 35mm lenses.

We went to the "Tagebau Inden" once and he chose a Nikkor 600mm on his 4x5 qinch Linhof, while I was shooting him with a Minolta Dimage 7 (Which only needed ONE tripod for support)

He has a great website carrying industrial shots only: http://www.hfinster.de/StahlArt2/archive-en.html

That is why I asked & The portrait of him fit the topic of this thread anyway.

I love John's Belgian workhorses and Jan's rustic farm building.

I thoroughly enjoyed viewing the images in this thread, thanks to all who posted.
I have become interested in back lit images fairly recently but more to the point of a silhouette view of a subject and Andy's "large tree in Africa" appeals greatly along with Anthony's jetty and John Geert's grass stem.
