The images are truly great - I wanted to mention a few but it is impossible without stepping on someone's toes.
Food photography isnt always as easy as it looks - which makes the posted images stand out even more.

Elsa: is it not a pity that no one dares to step on someone elses toes?

I feel this is very much against the original spirit of Nikongear.

Much better than the other way around!

Pity I do not have a chance to bring perfect food light to Killin. We can only improvise there....

not at all what I meant

I truly like them all - every image posted has it's own allure. but there are going to be more good ones posted and I am off - out of town to shoot a celeb wedding - I won't keep up with the thread.

Photos I took a while ago for a friend.

Andy, I'd happily eat that king prawn dish.

Anthony, love the promise hinted at with your roast chicken & red cabbage. And spooky that the canteen in the office where I work actually served this combination up for Tuesday lunchtime! But I'm willing to bet that your ones tasted 10x better :)

Elsa, do you use that fish image as a logo on your website, or FB page? I know I've seen it before and love the clarity, the comedy of the fish and the great contrast with the red background. But I want to know what they looked & tasted like after they'd been cooked!

From a recent cooking class at my favorite supermarket, themed Swordfish & Tuna.

Some ingredients:

The girls with a souvenir:

Little fish towers waiting for the oven (alternating white Swordfish and red Tuna:

The appetizer, the two marinated fish framing sushi:

Putting the finishing touches on the desert (two types of Kaiserschmarrn with fruit compote):

All shot with the 60/2.8G and D750. Exif on the fullsize images...

cheers

Taken with the APO Digitar 120mm
Sinar P2 and D600 as a Digiback.

The resize is not ideal. I can assure that this will look great printed
