And something more recent, from our NG Schwarzwald trip.

Liked it so much I ordered it both times we had dinner there, also made it a few times here in the NL with the Vodka our Polish friend Andrew brought as a gift to the NG trip.

Veggies and alien brain I guess, i.e. I do not know the name of the plant. My son came later and had bacon with
eggs fried sunny side down.

I'm with you, Peter.  :)

Andy, do you get to taste all of them?  :P
Your photos are so beautiful; I'm having hard time finding right words to tell how much I like them.

Furtunately and unfortunately the answer is: yes :)

My daughter is "only" doing this as a personal hobby. The family and friends are "needed" to enjoy then the outcome of her creativity and the taste of her handcraft. I can tell you, that sometimes it is really though :)

My wife and her friends love cooking as well.
On one side it is nice to have so many excellent cooks around, but you can imagine the downside of it as well ;)
(But it is a good excuse to sneak around in the kitchen and claiming "I am just taking photographs" :D)

rgds, Andy

PS:
1) Hot soup
2) Roasted duck
3) More ducks
4) Group work on a sunny sunday

It is called a Dragon Fruit (Pitaya) and it is out of focus.

Keep working at it, you will get there eventually.......when not busy making asinine comments allover the place ;)
