It shows like denim fabric on my screen, serious moire?

Not on the original. Lots of ripples in the sand. When such an image is downscaled, you'll get beat patterns sooner or later.

This scene, captured a few days ago, could be posted in any of the following threads: Minimalistic images, In wait for the spring, Pictorial UV, Monochrome, ...

I choose to show it here. This is the onset of ice break-up on 'my' local river, on a section where water flow is sluggish.

A classic scene from a very happy (for most of us) shoot in Copenhagen. Jakov played the model, Erik managed the studio light and released the cans, and I tried to snap the picture at the optimum point in time.

Beautiful contributions.

Doubts about this one, is it Monochrome enough?

On my opinion, John, #94, 95, 96 all fit perfectly into the realm of the opening post.

We had one discussion on whether skin plus black plus white plus one color fits.

I am still unsure if "skin" is a color at all and not a huge set of colors.

I really like to see a "monochrome nude" (skin only) to be better able to judge this.

Hey, Bjørn. This is a different Flower shot! Seems the film was burnt on the corners... eh ...

Very poisonous plant, you know. Very hot. A burning sensation accompanies it :D

This is an IR capture from Lofoten, which I post here to avoid hijacking a member's thread.

Looks very familiar to me.  I mean, the dried fish!    :)

Unfortunately, or perhaps the opposite, even IR photography cannot convey the smell :D
