A window like that takes some time in the making...

By the window, interior shot in a church in Athens.

While in Central London with the Camera, I took the opportunity to capture a facade I put together about 8 years ago.
It has a position between a 1700/1800 beautiful ornate facade and a 1960's bland thing.

Paco, the image reminds me of Vermeer, my favorite one.

John, did you design this elaborate facade?  Impressive job!

Lars, nice find and composition!

Hello Akira
I was purely hands on in charge of the assembly of the end product.
It is a Gem of a facade, deserved of a better observed location.
I have worked on another Geometric Glass Structure as well,
which is the Siemens Crystal located in East London.

John, thanks for the details.  Just googled "Siemens Crystal".  Yet another impressive work, no matter how you were involved!

John G, another view of your facade, I made my  visit to London for the purpose of collecting my new 105 f1.4 ( 1st September ), I immediately fitted the lens and started taking images, this was on my walk back to Euston, brand new lens used at f1.4, I think your facade was a good lens test target.

Hi Jacques
The quality of your capture is exceptional, puts my 50mm f1.8D in the shadows.
The reflections of the surrounding architecture in a abstract presentation, and the view into the floors, is just drawing me in,
A healthy type of voyeurism, I would like to think.
The cleanliness of this facade in the heart of London was as appealing as the facade itself.
The Landlord of this building deserves a loud applaud, for appearing to spend regularly on cleaning maintenance.
