That's a nice one, Arend. Colours and atmosphere.  It almost looks 'historical'  ;)

Jørgen Ramskov, very cool effect with your phantom night bus.
+1. Beautiful shot Jørgen.

I like Arend's biking bridge shot a lot. Reflection on water, smoke from the chimneys - everything is so perfect.

Some NG members claim UV cannot make 'artistic' pictures. As any other  attempt of making a limited domain for creative expressions by setting fixed rules, it fails.

This is a very nice example. I'd like to see more utilisation of UV for pictorial use

I agree, perhaps that should be a new thread in itself. For the time being here is a UV capture off the coast of Malibu, California several years ago. UV photography as a facilitator of long daytime exposures.

Nice topic and some very nice contributions.

On this hiking trip I was going as lightweight as you can go with the D3s and only carried the 16/3.5 fisheye and 50/1.2.  Exposure is 30 seconds because I forgot to bring a remote, I never understood why the cameras have this silly limit. But with a clean ISO4000 and a headlight to paint the cave and foreground I could bag a nice memory of that special evening of sleeping in the cave (an inside image was posted in the moon topic).

Charlie, that UV works really well. The ambiance you created is very special.

Thomas, I think the person who did the fountain had something like that in mind when creating it. It enhances the shape and movement.

Coming right at me at Gran Vía, Madrid.
