An interesting variation over a familiar scene so easily becoming a cliché. You avoided that trap.

A summer night on the Skagerrak coastline of southern Norway. I guess this was at the darkest time of the night around 0200 (2AM for those using 12-hour time).

The tidal pool with its Enteromorpha algae was captured on film (so yes, it's an old take) with an F4 and the 28 mm f/3.5 PC-nikkor Tilt/shift. No EXIF on film of course, but likely this was ISO 100 film, f/22, and around 30 secs.

Thanks Bjørn. She's quite patient when I'm fooling around with the camera or when I find a good bar with a good selection of beers
Hilariously, some street salesmen tried to sell me a "tripod" instead of the big rock I believe I used for the shot. If lucky, the tripods might not crash under the load of a P&S camera.

Jørgen. I love the bus without a bus. Very much so. I feel sometimes patience  pays of in long exposures.
Some luck is also required.

Bjørn: I do not recall and I don't have any images of them either, but I wouldn't be surprised. I seem to vaguely recall something about "improve your photos" or similar.

Ps. I remember seeing and being very impressed with your fisheye image (first page) many years ago, either on your own site or on the old NG site. It still impresses me. As do many other images posted in this thread.
