Very nice. Fantastic handrail. So much subtle structure of order :D

Yes! Captivating. Very nice game of lines, frame splitting and gorgeous touch with the handrail.

Thomas and Paco, thanks!  I've seen such handrails here and there in Tokyo, but haven't had chance to capture in the way I wanted.

Paco, yes, I found this particular one in a subway station.

I hope the handrail waves are synched with the stairs. It would make for some cognitive dissonance otherwise :)

Apparently the handrail waves are "just loosely" synched with the stairs, so practically it would work.  :)

The green hue of the escalator looks pleasant and beautiful.

The handrail shot is a keen observation  - with a surreal outcome, Akira. :)

Armando - I almost lost my balance (vertigo) when I viewed this photo full screen. That's quite an impact!!

Central atrium of my latest project. The building opens in just over a week, so there is still plastic covering some light fixtures and miscellaneous things to fix or finish.

I don't think the designer of that hand rail understands, "Form Follows Function." The hand rail makes a good photograph however.

Dave, indeed the rail may not feel comfortable as a guide when you descend, but its steeper sections would work nicely as a grip when you ascend, especially for the people who need something to hold on to.
