I have come back to this shot several times and each time, my vision remains the same. The frames within frames, the unbalanced foreground, and the kiss- and then I look immediately to the right, and there it is. It simply makes my heart dance a bit.
Rick,
So glad you are here ...you are a great inspiration to my photography, your thoughtful comments are always helpful.
Nicely done. This just shouts romance and real and all the things we felt when we were young. Thank you for sharing.
Gary,
Thank you .....I am really looking forward to seeing some of your images.
My comment would be that the couple is too centred. Is my comment even valuable here? probably not.
I know you are not going to shoot that scene again - but perhaps next time you might think of all the comments here - and remember those you found had some merit. This is how I try to get better, and I sure as hell can use all the help I get
I like the image, it really is romantic. Nice contrast.
Elsa,
I have missed you, lovely to be able to chat again ....the image is in the "Critique" section to be pulled apart. I learn from all comments good or bad. I agree or disagree but consider all the advise given.
i like it as it is - they are in their own world and nothing around can disturb them,
the warning sticker is a welcome underlining of the scene
Thomas,
Thank you for the comment ....but for you I would not of been there to get the shot!
It is a great feeling to be back in a circumstance where people are civil, knowledgeable and forthright about their opinions and there is no hint of underlying attitude.
I have missed this very much and, although my work is clearly in the lowest quartile of those posting here, I am so happy to be here.
Lew,
Enough already you know your work is up there with anyone here .....looking forward to you putting some up
Andreas,
It was the restaurant/cafe on top of the store with the rooftop view.
Cheers
