Hmm,
you must have shot this before we met right? Don't remember a place like this on the day in FFM.

cheers

I have come back to this shot several times and each time, my vision remains the same.  The frames within frames, the unbalanced foreground, and the kiss- and then I look immediately to the right, and there it is.  It simply makes my heart dance a bit.

Rick,
So glad you are here  ...you are a great inspiration to my photography, your thoughtful comments are always helpful.

Nicely done. This just shouts romance and real and all the things we felt when we were young. Thank you for sharing.

Gary,
Thank you .....I am really looking forward to seeing some of your images.

My comment would be that the couple is too centred. Is my comment even valuable here? probably not.
I know you are not going to shoot that scene again - but perhaps next time you might think of all the comments here - and remember those you found had some merit. This is how I try to get better, and I sure as hell can use all the help I get  :P

I like the image, it really is romantic. Nice contrast.

Elsa,
I have missed you, lovely to be able to chat again  ....the image is in the "Critique" section to be pulled apart. I learn from all comments good or bad. I agree or disagree but consider all the advise given.

i like it as it is - they are in their own world and nothing around can disturb them,
the warning sticker is a welcome underlining of the scene

Thomas,
Thank you for the comment  ....but for you I would not of been there to get the shot!

It is a great feeling to be back in a circumstance where people are civil, knowledgeable and forthright about their opinions and there is no hint of underlying attitude.
I have missed this very much and, although my work is clearly in the lowest quartile of those posting here, I am so happy to be here.

Lew,
Enough already you know your work is up there with anyone here .....looking forward to you putting some up

Andreas,
It was the restaurant/cafe on top of the store with the rooftop view.

Cheers

Beautifully observed, Bez, I was trying to capture the view and you were making art.

I agree with your placing of the couple and with the sign, but, hey, that's just me.

So many great shots, Bez. Just a few annotations to some favorites:

woman with dog on a balcony without railing. Very improbable. Very worth taking

man sleeping by the river bank: This shows how secure this city is. You can sleep in public without fear for your life. Pure Trust.

Distinguished lady in front of Beer garden. What a personality shown here!

lower class couple discussing in the pedestrian zone. Great study of style and relation

monks on escalator. funny by cultural contrast.

Thank You. Looking forward to seeing you in person ASAP
You are out there. You and your camera. You can shoot or not shoot as you please. Discover the world, Your world. Show it to us. Or we might never see it.

Listen - if you had moved a tad - there would be no pole growing out of the guy's head :)

Stride - had you waited a tad - the other person would not be directly under your subject :)

really lovely shots BEZ !!
