Very nice capture :)

Very nice captured Nassos and Arturo.
This friendly Starling (Sturnus vulgaris) was absolutely not afraid of us and grabbed the tiny pieces of meat we put next to our table.

Nice capture with an IPhone Bruno :)
I am dreaming the day that I will get rid of all the heavy photographic equipment and use a (capable) mobile phone 8)

Thanks, Nasos. I think we have more chances counting on cooperating birds than on a 800mm phone lens :). This one was not afraid to stand 15cm from my hand.
That said, the 500 PF on a D500 is a blessing in that respect.

The Blackcaps have started to build a nest in the garden, made of twigs and cobwebs.

Nice captures Bruno and yes D500/500pf is all time clasic :)

Arturo this is a very beautiful moment :) I have got it on video last year
For us here is the nesting season and swallows are building the nests, so I got these shots yesterday, they transport mud as building material  8)

Nasos, impeccable captures. In my case, since I shoot in manual mode, focusing on a moving swallow is almost impossible. If you look closely, the ones in my photo are "Hirundo Rustica" and yours are "Cecropis Daurica."

Thank you Arturo, yes I know these  two spices  looks alike but are different :)

Another elegant and very  beautiful bird Streptopelia turtur shown yesterday in the middle of a country road, it stayed calm for a couple of minutes and then continued to search  for food in the nearby bushes, I got it on video also, when I find a way post videos here, I will do 8)

Even it was about 9:00 am, it was a heat haze that ruins almost all of my photos, you may also see  here :(

Nice swallows, Nasos and Arturo.
I'm glad to see a Turtle dove, thanks for sharing, Arturo. They were everywhere here 50 years ago but are now completely gone.

Thank you Bruno, for many years I was hearing about Turtle doves but I show my first one 2-3 years ago in the same area during wildlife shooting :)

Here I am on the Mula River, photographing swallows and young goldfinches that come to drink. Sometimes I use that lens without a tripod. It weighs almost two kilos, it's my gym, and focusing while moving is a challenge.
