Yes, it certainly appears to shine with the TC-20E III, very impressive performance.

We've had many bloody moons in last two years.  This one was shot on Sep. 9, 2014.  Ai 400/5.6 ED IF on D7000.

Akira, I love the combination of the colour, the clarity you've achieved on the craters with your =600mm and the overall air of dreaminess that the clouds give it.

John, that's an intruiging result. Did you use a filter to get that not-starburst effect?

Thanks Colin,  no filter was used, but 1.6 seconds exposure at F/8.

Colin, glad you like it.  I was a bit bored with the same closeups of the moon, and indeed the clouds and the "blue hour" gave me a different inspiration.

In this case, the 500/4 Ai-P Nikkor was brought to bear on the harvest moon.
