Mars and the moon, very early today. Mars is so tiny that I need a large screen to see it on the full picture.

Great capture, Bruno! I hoped someone here would be able to catch it, thanks for posting, all clouded out here.

Especially the mars is very well captured.  I can see its roundness and some colors instead of just a faint dot.  Congrats!

I was lucky with the weather before dawn yesterday.

I could see the full Moon, Mars (conjunction of 0.5 deg) and the bigger Pleiad stars all aligned with my bare eyes. A magic start of the day!

Thank you, guys. For once, the sky was clear here, magic indeed.

The total Lunar eclipse was on tonight. The prospect looked slim here with respect to cloud cover, but I managed a few shots that were not too affected before clouds drifted in again while totality was still on. 500PF +TC-20E III wide open on Z8, tracked 10-13 sec exposures at ISO 500, except the first one 2 sec at ISO 1600, which shows the red earthshine even before totality was on.

Thanks Thomas and Ian.

BTW, at the same time as we viewed a lunar eclipse from earth, the Firefly Blue Ghost mission captured a solar eclipse from the moon   8)

Øivind, thank you for sharing the lunar eclipse images.  I somehow like the very first one with the excessive glow!  Also, thanks for the link!

Thanks Armando and Akira.
I am also partial to the first one and the glow - It sort of looks like a huge asteroid slammed into the moon and causes the interior to glow.
