A conventional Moon for a change. Mid November golden moon arising over foggy conifer forests in my neighbourhood some years ago.

Nice to see some of your classic moon images here Birna, thanks for posting! The new one is also really beautiful.

Interesting with the moon peeking out behind the clouds, Akira.

Last night there was a conjunction between Mars and the moon, first image with 300mm f/4 PF and the last one with 105mm f/2.5 AIS. The seeing was pretty poor this close to the horizon.

Thanks for the comment Akira. The second image is also my favorite. I was out a bit too late to get the moon surface details with non-black night sky in the first one.

I'm pretty much bored with the straightforward full moon shot.  But the clouds keep me interested.  :)
