I like the the 17-35 more on the Df than on the D700.

I was thinking about putting it "in Frank's kitchen" but most would not be happy with it in their kitchen  ;) .  The 105vr is not the lens for trying to AF fast on this Wasp in my kitchen  ;D
D700,105 2.8vr, f11, 1/250

Just for grins  ;D

Thanks, John. I'll give the 17-35 a try.
It has been my city walk around lens for some time and it's in my standard AF bag.

Beautiful Hans!

Thanks Jakov. I shot this with my AW1. This was on a weekend "with the guys", so no big photo gear. However, this little thing frustrates the heck out of me (other than being used in the water), because it won't focus where i want it to.

Perhaps we should take our AW1's to the Utrecht meeting so that i can try to learn from you how to best use it on dry land  ???

Hans, I am frustrated as much as you are.
I have even read the manual several times, and there are things I just don't understand. I never managed to get the AW1 to focus where I desire.
However, it needs to be said that I was ecstatic when I found out how to change aperture and shutter speed in manual mode :D

Hehe, let's take it to Utrecht then and see how we both can be frustrated, or enlightened  :)

Air traffic to and fro Las Vegas is immense.

Everything here is "big" - even parking fines.

It's OK to catch one plane in such and image, but you captured two of them?!

It's Las Vegas, you know. The city where the air port has slot machines and people arrive and depart 24/7.

Another day in the US deserts, Andrea and I were stalked all day long by this alien creature from outer space. On an occasion of closer encounter, I managed to get a shot of the UFO.
