Burning Man?
Might fit well.
The tubes have been collecting top gas from the blast furnace.
In case of over pressure the gas was torched off for good. See the cage a the top of the central vertical pipe.

I found a picure of the steel plant in operation here (sorry, no bw)

One of the Suzuki Clubs.   This is the first time in probably 6 or 7 years I've just processed as camera monotone.  With 600+ images, just playing around.  Just some highlights and shadows corrections and no sharpening.

Just sitting on a small, country bridge talking to a couple of guys on a dreary morning.  No birds but I looked up and saw her coming down the road towards us.  Very unusual to see one out on the open spaces.  She got close and was deciding what to do.  Tried to go around the bridge on either side but did not fancy a swim.  Then she jumped to the nearest Palm tree .  When we did not leave she came down and sauntered across the bridge .  Shame I only had the D750,300 2.8vr w/tc1.7.

First image was playing with Nik in ways I had never tried. Just a tad overdone  ;D .   Second one is pretty straight forward conversion.  A bit different than European 'Street'  ;)

Completely lost track of which images I've posted where but here's two images deliberately shot in b&w.

Jan, the fist one feels translunar, and the choice of the B&W in sepia tone is spot on!

more monochrome, as in its meaning of one colour so not split or duotone or whatever qualification you think to use

Fons, there seem to be interesting sculptures all over the place in Holland!
