"Only" -24C calls for a genuine postcard picture :)

Nikon Zf Nikkor 40mm f/2. Not the sharpest of the Nikkors, but its rendition is pleasant. And it works quite well for IR too, a feat uncommon amongst the Z Nikkors these days.

No snow here yet, though we may see some Thursday. Any moisture will be welcome due to drought!

D850, 24-70mm f/2.8

Strong statement, great balance between the deepest dark and harsh white. Great impact with an overall delicate harmony. Excellent shot.

If the relentless attacks of Nature weren't enough, we have to suffer the impact of brutalist architecture as well :(

Birna,
Agree with the ongoing eyesore of brutalist architecture. Here's the not-very-photogenic but daily view from my home. While Washington DC has a long list of brutalist-style buildings, this one has the informally claimed the title of ugliest of all. Hence the desire of many citizens to anticipate the first snowfall to add some charm to the urban scenery.

My Tomcat

I always find your cat portraits sensitvely done and this is no exception John.

Meanwhile the sun shone for several hours today.
I know it's worse farther North, but look how long the shadows were just after mid-day!

'Candles Burning Hot' - as seen from my #WorkFromAnywhere seat.

The 2nd day with very welcome sun after long weeks of winterly grey.
IMHO straight not boring - (see: https://nikongear.net/revival/index.php?topic=10857.msg196562#msg196562)
