A ship that comes with its own theme eh Bruno :)

I like the hint of "mirage" or thermal effects in the air just above the waterline (drooping letters in "one")

Thanks, Colin. And your're right, I did not saw it that way but it is indeed a theme :)

Great shot, Bruno.

Thanks, John. If I'm not mistaken, you've been in the area yourself: Cap Gris Nez, Wissant ...?

All white outside. Cold. Depressing.

Nikon Zf, Voigtländer APO 180mm f/4. This lens handles surprisingy well on the Zf, by the way. Erik did a great job when he managed to CPU-modify the 180 -- it works perfectly through the FTZ adapter too.

Yes, last year (2022) Bruno. Basecamp was a chalet close to Boulogne-sur-Mer.  Coming weekend we will be there again, only for a few days but relaxation is welcome ;-)

A pity I’m leaving today, stuff to do at home. We could have had a mini meetup :)

Next time !  ;) It's a great environment (hills, culture and sea) for a larger meetup by the way.

No, still there, but I am now retired and I put my pension plan in a house close to Cap Gris Nez, closer than Normady.
