Colin are you using your phone for photography here in Spain? Muy bien ;)!

Thanks Fons, yes I am.
To keep weight down I decided against bringing my camera.

And if truth be known, it hasn't limited the scope of what my eye has been drawn to.
Maybe just the quality, DOF etc

This snap of a shopper's market purchase about to slide out of its bag might have needed more contortions if I'd tried with my D500....

Short outing with the D700 + Nikkor-H Auto 50mm f/2

A wonderful combination and a very good photo.

Flinders Lane, Melbourne?  Good to see the D700 in action.

Thank you! I got a few Nikkor 50mm lenses but I really like the Nikkor-H 50mm f/2.  :)

Great shot! There was a first floor café that looked directly down that lane, an excellent everchanging parade of characters.

D850 & AF-S 300mm f/4.0 PF - don't know if the composition works - I was a bit limited by the focal length selection

I made a little cheat on your image, just to see how it would have looked, and cloned the moon a little diagonally down and to the L, and cropped out the original moon:

(could have cloned it closer to the mountain, maybe better)

Adding Cheat #2 (moon closer, more cropping)

Ciao from Massimo

Waiting for the commuter train to tale me home, again.

Oslo Central Station in IR, with Nikkor 28mm f/2.8SE Z and the modified Nikon Z5. The lens is very sharp for IR use and provided one doesn't stop it all the way down, the dreaded IR hot spot issue is not objectionable.
