This is a nice project
Do you ever find many funghi on these decaying trees Birna?

In time, there are plenty of fungi ensuring the final decomposition of the tree is complete.

Later this year I plan to return armed with UV LED torches to learn whether any UV-induced fluorescence exists.

One of the many beautiful Horse Chestnuts around at the moment.

I like this one in Herefordshire,  UK because it's covered in flowers from the lowest branches right up to the topmost and it must be 25m+ tall too

Visionary Paco!

Here a more mundane attempt from my side. Sunrise quite recently, 4x5 on Fomapan 100 B&W film. F/16, 59sec (because Foma has a wild reciprocity failure  :o).

Strong graphics, nicely framed. It has a Tim Burton flavour to my eyes. Ready for a story.

Thank you Paco!

Same Beech tree different position, and some heavy editing, correcting perspective on the wide end of the 24-70!

Salix alba.
A pollard willow from the garden. It's at the end of its life, the trunk totally hollow.
Circumference is 4.32 meters at 1.5m.
