Thank you all.

  I actually  was shooting the building and notice the tree later. As Akira, said, it was an eureka moment and then the image made sense. I'm very happy something got through

  Fons, love the colors, the graphic nature and and the overall "dystopian" feel of it.

Last one standing :(

I've followed the decay of the remaining trees on this forest clearing for some years now, and aim to record the appearance at least once a year.

Through the lens, the slow deterioration and decomposition processes became tangible and visible. The first image from early spring, 2022, shows the Downy Birch Betula pubescens trunk with the bark layer intact. Now decomposition has gone a few steps further.

    This is intensive emotionally Birna, for no apparent reason the first one got a big reaction from me.

Spatial cues of this image change radically depending on whether the blue area at the left is clear blue sky OR the shadow side of the building.

Do you ever find many funghi on these decaying trees Birna?
