The red looks kind of washed out Fons. Maybe due to the edits?

Thanks Luc, the washed out red should be a type of orange, like i mentioned in a different post about photo-ninja, the latest edition of its program doesnt support the Z sensors. The Zfc could probably be corrected into a designated profile, the Z6 is completely unworkable unless the 14 bit files are reduced to 12 bit compression i suspect, i adressed PN persosonally on this issue, will see how they are going to respond. I used to work with previous versions of PN and had decided to renew my subscription.

You're welcome Fons. Thanks for the explanation. I use Capture One for all my raw conversion and like it a lot.

I received a phone about my Z9 today -- it was eagerly waiting to be picked up. The national dealer had 9 units and allowed me to pick one with a suitable serial number. So naturally I selected the Number 13 -- best wishes to Paco.

Now waiting for the battery to charge. Meanwile, there is a reference manual comprising 914(!) pages to read through.

It has that undeniable 'Nikon feeling' about it. Any Nikon user will find a familiarity with the controls that is re-assuring. Very business-like machine, though. This is meant for serious (ab)use. The total lack of finder black-out is uncanny. Only the very slightest glimpse of something happening on the margins of the finder frame.

Weather is not to my preferred liking at the moment but going into the field is very tempting.

I'm also looking forward to the keep hearing impressions about the camera here in NG. How it works in the field with different styles and preferences.

  Today was a day for some students images. This long shawl was  traditionally only for females but it is getting more and more use for anyone who wants to use it.

I was wrong about the film. It was actually Ilford FP4+ developed in Rodinal 1:50. Quite possibly with a yellow filter on the lens.

This one is the same film and developer. It was at the corner of University Avenue and Queen Street West in downtown Toronto, in April 2011. The bagpipe player was there regularly. The woman happened along as I was composing the photograph, so I jumped backwards and hastily refocused.
