How could I possibly resist the opportunity. So please indulge me. A view of the 360-1200 Nikkor on the Z9 is not often seen? An NG first I would believe.

Z fc with the Viltrox 56mm f/1.4, processed in PN with the Z fc profile kindly provided by Fons.

A combo of a rare lens and (still) rare body.  Only one in the world, maybe?  Hope you enjoy it!

Yes, the lens is nice albeit on the heavy side (approx. 10 kgs). Probably the only out of the ~175 made with a built-in CPU (?).

Great setup Birna.

How are the results with the lens on the Z9?

Digitizing old slides again

This time with the PS-4 adapter on the Nikon PB-4 with the Nikkor 50mm f/3.5 from 1963 at f/8 and the Nikon D800E as camera.  This fixed setup has a lot  of advantages. (for slides and film)

August 1980 Oetz, Austria.
With the Olympus OM2n and the Zeiko 50/1.8

Great setup Birna.

So far I'm pleased. However, the planned location for today's use of the lens was inaccessible due to an ice and snow avalanche blocking the road so I have to try somewhere else tomorrow.

A behemoth lens like this is a niche item and preplanning the shoot is a must.
