Low tide  beach at Ambleteuse, a village on the Opal coast in France I recently found which I like very much.

Time itself can be a most enlightening lens ... I found an old Kodak CF card earlier today and used it as a test subject for an experimental setup with a surplus microscope camera and a suitable lens. In this case, the venerable Nikkor 28/2.8 AIS, also unofficially known as the 'Wide-angle Micro Nikkor'.

What a difference in perspective two decades can bring. Also, throws light on the futility of predicting the future?

The Nikkor 135mm f/3.5 AI  is a gem of a lens.  Unbelievable sharp and with great clarity.

No wonder the prices go up for this lens.

It is that fully open? wonderful bokeh, front and back, and that expression... It all works together.

Thanks Paco.  Yes at f/3.5

Lovely pastel colours Bruno.  Looks like a pleasant place to be.  Many tourists there?
