Neither am I, but N. x marliacea is an umbrella term for horticultural hybrids involving American and Asian species.

My wife's speaks Spanish like a native speaker and sometimes translates Dutch phrases in Spanish for me (in the hope some of it sticks). It's remarkable how many phrases are similar. Nice image, Paco.

The Norwegian phrase is 'grønne fingre'. Translates directly as 'green fingers'. Which obviously is shared with every other European nation?

PS How did the US get "green thumb" from "green fingers". I am assuming that green thumb is derived from green fingers of course.
