Thank you. You have provided enough information to help in identification. Insofar as I can determine Papilio machaon is largely an eurasian species with a few outliers in western Canada and the northwest U.S.

As this photo was taken in the state of Oklahoma, in the south central U.S. it seems more likely that this is Papilio polyxenes.

Have been out and without computer, last one went kaput after 9 years of intense use. Now I have a macbook air m1 and it looks like is going to work very well indeed for my uses.
   Here an image from Ronda, a city with the oldest one of the oldest bullrings in Spain. Constructed from 1780 to 1785.

An empty house in our neighborhood.  It's not abandoned, I know the owner.  The house is gutted due to termite damage and the owner uses it to store building materials.  Wish he would do something with this place other than keep his junk there.  Fuji X-Pro2, 23/2 Fujinon lens.
