True spring still is a feature of the future it seems. However, being a Nordic citizen, patience is a useful trait.

Vivek Iyer kindly informed me the NEX-5N Monochrome had a "sweep panorama" mode. Despite the depressing and inclement weather I just had to try from my porch and voila! this works. Now I can have pencil photos, not only pencil skirts
