Anemone nemorosa Wood Anemone are slowly coming into bloom these days. So I guess it's spring although the temperature doesn't feel appropriate for that season. Oh well.

Nikon Z6, Nikkor-O CRT 55mm f/1.2. Set to f/1.2 obviously. This lens will, by the way, focus to infinity on the Z, but then only a small centre area has any kind of sharpness. For close-ups this issue is moot.

Makes me want to pull out mine.  Inspiring!

Wild orchid

May 2nd, during our usual walk on the hilltops surrounding my hometown, I must have seen at least 500 wild orchids. This one reminds me of small babies in one-piece bodysuits...
