Seen in a nearby pond, a Common Snapping Turtle (a very large one) that caused two geese to scatter as it approached.

The death of Prince Philip was enough for pretty much all BBC TV coverage to be cancelled on Friday evening, replaced by programs about his life

Not enough wind to make it clear the flag is flying half mast, but snow on the hills all around

April is known to be fickle weather-wise in my country, and this ancient insight was demonstrated yet again when I woke up this morning to a complete white-out and strong wind gusts.

That looks extremely cold, Birna.

It's here snowing too, now and then, during very cold showers.  Yesterday evening suddenly a small sun came through the clouds.
