Norway looks like a difficult place to survive. Spring weather here often means gusty winds but there was a respite yesterday and went out on the glassy water.

If this is the kind of company car they provide to employees, the business obviously is quite lucrative :)

They seem to go the distance with this vehicle ;), from the license its from the Rhine area just across the border.

On the other hand i'm somewhat surprised there are strict regulations crossing the border.

Raphanus sativus var. hortensis.

SIGMA fp and Ai Micro Nikkor 55mm/f3.5 @ f8.0.  I think its flare resistance is admirable.

An enjoyable scene

Moonrise

5 days ago, weather was coldish but no snow. Clear sky!

The Dwarf Daffodils outside got a cold surprise yesterday ... They didn't seem to be troubled too much by the snowfall, likely because the ambient temperature didn't drop far below freezing.

Olympus E-M1.2 (not a favourite, but used in an underwater housing for my current aquatic macrophyte project) with the ultrawide Laowa 7.5mm f/2 (110 degrees, focus to 12 cm, as most Laowa designs amazingly sharp at least in the centre of the frame. I am replacing an Olympus 8mm f/1.8 Fisheye which I never took fancy to, with the Laowa for this season's shooting.  Tests so far strengthen my belief this replacement was a prudent decision)

From today's walk. Grocery stores are on the rise in these distracted times. Other stores, from our once-upon-a-time economic model, try to keep pace.

April 9

Euphorbia

I'm wondering if it would be possible to make some sort of stereoscopic or 3D image here
- Either using the two versions of PP, or
- Maybe with new shots.

Seeing the dark version makes the texture & "depth" of detail really stand out

Spiraea cantoniensis.

Love it Akira!
Depth & delicacy in the main floret, "hazy" dreamy bokeh elsewhere...

It's here snowing too, now and then, during very cold showers.  Yesterday evening suddenly a small sun came through the clouds.

Are those Magnolia flowers John?
