My forebears have tilled this land for millennia. Each spring it's time to start all over again.

Laowa 11mm f4.5 on the Nikon Z50.

What do they grow in that field? Snow?

Funny. Snow is found natively in abundance.

I guess they grow either rye, barley, or wheat.

Hello  !
Long time without posting on NG, though I was reading frequently and enjoying all the amazing photos.
A rainbow from earlier this evening.
Best regards,

Some kind of Nature's normalcy is -- again -- restored. Heavy snowfall as documented by the 55mm f/1.2 CRT Nikkor on my Z50. A dark morning  necessitated the lens to be set to f/1.2.

Thanks, John. Latitude gives us a short advantage in the arrival of spring with respect to NL, and even more so with respect to Birna's latitude (see respective photos...)
I have attempted to move out in the open my crassula plants, while the sun is still gentle. Brutal suns tend to burn the leaves after a winter's permanence inside...
Not yet attempted to transplant the basil, I usually wait until mid-April.
