March 02.  It was very humid and warm today, it felt as if a typhoon were approaching.  Very strange.

The strangest February day in my 30 years in Japan. Nothing to compare!

I experienced an isolated squall-like downpour 10 or 15 years ago in February in Ota-ku, Tokyo.  It was even warmer than today then.  The climate of Japan has become increasingly like tropical in the past couple of decades.

Yes, I have a permit, but nothing happens there....    Very minimal news, no real press conferences, limited local news, closed restaurants and museums, no cultural and sport events.  Political meetings only online...

Hope this all will be soon over....
