Our local run-of-river power facility is busy making money by generating hydroelectricity to feed into the massive connecting cables to the Continent.

UV by the Z6 and Coastal APO 60mm f/4, Baader U filter.  I could just barely make a hand-held exposure as daylight was starting to fade..

The last honey of 2020. Our local city beekeeper still had some heather-buckweed honey...

Fine details and bokeh, Tom.  Which lens did you use?

Thanks John, Andrew and Akira for commenting.

John, the lens is the 50mm f/1.2 S, which arrived at my home yesterday morning. I tried it right away and was impressed by what the pictures looked like. I have the 50mm f/1.8 S and while it is a clinically sharp lens, I have never been able to take good pictures with it - my bad I guess. I was impressed by what Frank has done with the 50mm f/1.2 S and it sparked a desire to get the lens. The order was a month and a half on backorder from Nikon but it was worth the wait. It is the first 50mm lens in my lifetime that has really rocked my boat.

I will probably sell the 50mm f/1.8 S and another lens or two to offset the cost, but I'm keeping the f/1.2.

I had my 300mm vrII serviced because I felt it was not as sharp as it used to. Nikon Madrid told me it just needed a little adjustment of the AF and they did so at no cost  ???  8) I spend the evening just marveling at the detail this lens can produce. Here, a little contrast with enclosed work and open happy decorations on the street, a few meters from the balcony.
