When my girl friend returned after summer vacation, she found her shed being invaded by unwanted tenants ... common wasps had built a gigantic nest.
Those wasps have a fantastic [accidental]design sense. If the patterns had been created by a human, we'd call them psychedelic!

Those are the very same streets we walked in Albayzin, Granada. The taxi stopped a mere 50 meters from here and then we went to eat at "El Higo".

Thank you Erik.  ;)

I tried the auto AF fine tune with the D5. Have never done it before with any camera. It can be quite erratic in values from one try to the next. I´m confident at the end with the values except for the 58mm 1.4G. It still works better and more consistent in the Z6 body. Anyway, here a picture with the last lights from the very same point I chose for the tests.

November 5

Roadside chapel in Teeffelen.
Some of these little chapels are very old, supposedly some even pre-christian, ancient powerspots.

Thank you John and Birna, my genuine pleasure  :)

Today I tried a D3S. I have to agree with John, the high iso quality is amazing, specially counting the camera was release 10 years ago!

A momentous shot, Paco. The style I'm only able to behold; somehow too fast for my sluggish photography involving MF non-AI lenses...
A propos, here's one of these. The "heart" designed by the water lilies exploded :( but their colours too :)

Oh all those wonderful Nymphaeas .... Kudos.

Paco, were it not for the fact I just got the Z5 in for testing, I'd dig out the D3S to revive the feeling of that formidable picture-taking machine :)
