Thank you to all for your comments.

Akira - agreed.
The moonlit sky I posted earlier this week had a church in it.
I tried several shots, plus the clouds were moving so sometimes the moon was uncovered and others, it was obscured. But there was no way I could get other than a silhouette of the building.

I tried one with light painting, but couldn't stop this revealing trees & other things that spoiled the shot.
Yours is a good balance between seeing the features of the moon and of the evening cityscape

The next NikonGear gathering should be quite the event  8)

If navigating the latest travel restrictions didn't make travel hard enough, we'll also have to factor in a country with a sympathetic legal system Ian.

A great start for October with the images posted so far!

I'll add a bulb selfie, shot today with the venerable Nikkor 28mm f2.8 AIs on a Z6.

Riley 1,5, 1960

My parents owned a Riley some time in the early 1970's. Different model but some of the family resemblance comes across. I'm guessing there aren't many of these in Netherlands (believe they were made in UK?)?

Hi Nasos, yes this was taken at the Hawk Conservancy in Andover, UK
Most bird there will carry a tag to help track them. If you zoom in you'll see it has an aerial around 8cm long.
This helps them trace birds that have gone missing

Here's another shot of a Falcon taken at the same site with the older 300mm AF-S lens that shows the bird about to start one of it's high speed attack runs. The transmitter certainly isn't small but doesn't seem to put them off their natural behaviour

You can see some other examples of their beautiful (and intimidating) birds that I took this week here

Many car brands in earlier days in Britain to fuse into Leyland at one time, many similar cars maybe different appointments and all their own orignal brand names, Riley was one of them.

Image made just some hours ago this Saturday evening. Nikon Df with Reflex-Nikkor 1000mm f/11 on a tripod. Sunset seen from Kristiansund, Norway.
One picture taken is far better than none!
