One of my overwintering cultures of Lemna turionifera Red Duckweed suddenly lost its growth advantage over its accompanying floating liverwort Riccia fluitans. Within a week, the Riccia had surpassed the duckweed and now aims for [micro]cosmic dominance.

No flowers (blossom) any more in the Firethorn.  But inside the Firethorn bush, some hidden flowers can be found...
