Worried pigeon

Was brooding one or more eggs in an abandoned vase on my neighour's terrace. My neighbour is away to his home nation Switzerland on account of Covid-19.

I spotted it and it hid under the rim, peeking out at times to see if I was still staring.

I had all the time to fetch a camera and a telephoto lens.

Ciao from Massimo

Catching first light today with, for the first time since long ago, enough time to take a few pictures before work starts.
Hoping to get some free time to be back here more often.

I'd like to be welcomed by a morning sky like that Akira

Indeed, I felt I was blessed with the scene.

A beauty of a Dawn, Akira.  Tempting palette of colours.

Thank you, John.  When I opened the window to circulate the air, I found this scene, grabbed the camera and shot it, which I think was well worthwhile.

Gonzalo Sainz Trapaga is a goldsmith, sculptur, painter and a very interesting person & enterpreneur from our quarter. Today I created a series on him for a local paper

I reckon the 24-70 f.4S suffers by being called a “kit lens” because kit lens infers an inferior quality, when it really isn’t!
This lens deserves better treatment from commentators because to describe it as a mere kit lens is an insult to a super lens!

Yes, the lens is top notch!

Yesterday's moon, from my studio window (facing E), passing above house roofs

A couple of branches from a nearby cedar tree almost touch the moon.

Great moon!
