I really fail to see how the images shown are a scientific justification for the title of the post.
While they are slightly "exotic", very similar situations can be found in countries around the world.

Oh yes. Blame it on the Chinese. Or somebody else.

That site is out of order.

Scroll down and see how he describes Melania Trump.

You don't have to be a Trump supporter to find that unacceptable.

I came across his site one time on his view on a bunch of nikkors at one time, sorry i brought it up, no point in raising negativity.

This pandemic has brought out many cases similar to this where someone skilled in one domain makes pronouncements in domains which they they may be ill-qualified and perhaps dangerously wrong.

Yes...recently, I've seen well-known photo website authors recommending untried drug combinations, crackpot economic theories, and the drinking of vinegar to lose weight!
Added:  Pindelsky's attribution of the H1N1 origins info to the US-CDC is flat out false.

The precursor to vinegar has some beneficial side effects...

The 1918-1919 pandemic, wrongly called "Spanish flu" because at the time, news were less censored in Spain, originated in the US (Boston area) and was spread by US military men.

Funnily, nobody remembers, although that's pretty well documented.

The latest theory is that it originated in China https://www.nationalgeographic.com/news/2014/1/140123-spanish-flu-1918-china-origins-pandemic-science-health/
