Dear Nikon friends,
i'm currently looking for an inexpensive portrait lens that gives very good results on the D850. Before my system change to Nikon I had 'unfortunately' one of the best Canon portrait lenses (Canon 85mm 1.2 II),
Here are some of my former sample photos mainly with Canon 5D MK 2/3 and Canon 85mm 1.2 II:
https://www.fotogemeinschaft.de/die-besten-portraetobjektive-fuers-digitale-vollformat/2140/so I am very spoiled by good bokeh and outstanding sharpness and overall portrait-effect at open aperture.
For my desired lens (Nikon 105mm 1.4 ED) my money is currently not enough.
I'm saving for it but at the moment - after the system change from Canon - it's much too expensive.
The lens should be a cheap intermediate solution (portraiture insider tip) for the D850
Also the second choice lenses (Nikon 85mm 1.4 Ai-s or AF-Nikon 85mm 1.4 or Nikon 105mm 2.0 DC) are too expensive for me at the moment.
So I'm looking for a lens (105mm and /or 85mm ...; manual or AF) which is
up to the requirements of the D850 and doesn't cost more than 100-200 EUR used. (insider tips for the D850)
Which one would you recommend as the best compromise? (Please only Ai or later; no conversion necessary)
And - very important: I need many sample photos (e.g. on Flickr) to be able to judge the bokeh and the overall effect.
Thanks
Ralf
