This image appears to be a close-up snapshot of my work table. As usual this time of the year it is overflowing with parts. However, upon closer examination, the distribution of depth of field is a bit strange, to say the least. Might I add this is taken with an Olympus OM 28mm f/3.5 lens, rebuilt for use on my Nikons in a specialised fashion. The shooting aperture was f/5.6.
I'm still trying to come to grips with this, to me, novel technique and testing it with the Z cameras is a big advantage. Hopefully I master the approach enough to be able to put it to good use when the spring flowering commences.
